Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not at all. To see quotes, the tool only needs six pieces of data: your gender, birth date, how you rate your health, whether you use tobacco, and the coverage amount and term length you want to compare. Your name, address, and detailed health history stay private until you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The quotes shown are rates that each carrier would charge for the health class you indicated. Underwriting by the carrier may confirm that class, improve it, or adjust it—and that final determination sets your actual premium. These quotes are estimates for comparison only, not an offer of coverage or a price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
When you choose Apply, you provide your name and the secure application prefills with your earlier answers. From there, you continue on the carriers' own application system. The process allows you to pause and return later, and you sign all documents electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), manages the applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by carrier, the amount of coverage, and your health answers. Some carriers now decide instantly for applicants who meet their criteria using medical records and driving history instead of ordering an exam—these are often called accelerated programs. Each quote listed here shows whether an exam is required, might be required, or is not expected.
Is a longer term better?
A term length should match how long your dependents would need financial protection from your income: typically the years of a mortgage, while children are at home, or while a business loan is outstanding. Longer terms mean higher monthly costs but lock your rate in for more years. The quote tool displays costs for 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year terms so you can compare.
Does this site sell my information?
No. Because the quote request doesn't require any contact details, this site doesn't collect identifying information until you apply.
